my staple dish

I sometimes cook this dish during summer.
Because it is very easy to cook and not heavy.
I can eat it on very hot days even though I suffer from the summer heat.

It was hot day the day before yesterday, so I wanted to have this dish and cooked it.

1. Boil sliced pork.
2. Cut some SHISO (beefsteak plant leaf) , MYOGA (Japanese ginger) and SYOGA (ginger) into strips.
3. Make dressing... mix SU (rice vinegar), SATO (sugar) and SHOYU (soy sauce) = 3:1:1
4. Serve pork and herbs and put dressing on them.

I think it is very healthy but sustaining dish.
Pork contains B vitamins which can relieve our tired bodies.

This is an interesting dish. I think I'd like to try it. I just need to compete with my mom to use our kitchen. It is her domain. She does not let me go near it to cook. When I do start cooking, Mom shoo me away and take over. So I just sit with my dog and complain to him. He of course just turns his back and ask for a back rub. =(

I really appreciate your position!!
Because I usually competed with my mom and grand-mom to use our kitchen when I was living at my parents' house, like you said.

Sometimes my mom moved seasoning and cooking utensils to another position at her own discretion.
That's why my grand-mom and I used to be annoyed...hehe

Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped. We did an extensive remodeling job and now I want to refinance to cut the term to a 20 or 15 year loan. Does anyone know any good sites for mortgage information? Thanks!
