Rose

Roses in my garden are blooming!
I love rose, especially drab-orange rose in this photo.

This rose's name is "Julia". Its name is also beautiful, not only appearance.

To be honest, I didn't like rose before I got this because I thought rose were hincty, fiddly and self-assertion.
But I crushed on it when I found it.

My husband's grandmother on his mother's side bought me it as a housewarming gift and I planted it in my new garden 5 years ago.
Unfortunately, she is due to the advanced age and lives far from here, so she can't see it.
So I sent a printed card to her.
I hope she will be happy!!

Did I say the Shizuran? I meant the Suzuran.

By the way, Julia is the name of my favorite God-daughter. Who is the daughter of my high school friend. I currently have five godchildren.

"Julia" is my favorite name!
So if I have another dog, I will name her "Julia".

And...I didn't know about "godchild", so it sounds interesting for me.
Your all godchildren must be cuddly girls ( and boys? )!!

Oh, it is a practice of the Catholics that when a child is born, it must have a baptism to be pure of sin. They have Godparents, godfather or godmother (fairy godmother). I am the second parent of those children.

Note of caution:
Julias are very mischievous. I just wanted to warn you. I miss you. Hope to see you soon!!! Please take more pictures. You have an eye for beauty.

Thank you for your advice!
Are Julias very mischievous? Oh, this is perfect!!
Because if I get another dog, I will choose same breed and all dogs of this breed are very mischievous!

Incidentally, I call my dog "Chobi".
Chobi means "small amount", I guess. My dog usually sips water and eats a little at a time, so my mom named her it.
And my dog has another name... her name is "Elsa" on her pedigree paper.
